Montessori centered lesson plans and activities created by our own teachers to help keep students on their learning paths while at home.
Our current elementary students are invited to Zoom on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 11:00 AM PST with Ms. Sudha and Ms. Bev. Please do join your student, especially for the first Zoom meeting, as your student learns how to use Zoom.
Zoom invites will be sent via Class Dojo and email. This is completely optional, but we hope you will join us!
Current families are invited to join our Community Facebook group. We have over 40 members now, and parents are sharing photos, resources (free audio books, podcasts,free access to kids' movies, cosmic yoga, storytimes).
Follow along with a reading of “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” by Bill Martin Jr, then make your own Chicka Chicka Tree. Test your hands-on coordination and knowledge of the ABCs with Alphabet Toss and then Bake the Alphabet for a tasty afternoon snack!
Relax and listen as Ms. Jane reads “Paddington at the Carnival” by Michael Bond, then explore the alphabet with Paddington as he gets in everyday mischief with “Paddington’s A B C” by Michael Bond. Create your own Alphabet Flip Book, then go on an adventure Hunting Letters. How many hidden letters can you find? Teach your parents The Alphabet Song, we bet they haven’t heard this one before!
Follow along with a reading of “If I Were an Astronaut” by Eric Brown, then learn a fun new song. Create your own spinning planets and then relax with some Space Yoga. Once relaxed you will be ready to make your own Moon Sand in the kitchen!
